Here are some shots of our super sweet photo shoot from The Brides of North Texas.  Everything we did this year has involved macarons which we can't keep in the case this year for longer than 30 minutes a day.  Tell us what you think of our small Bliss Bites, Cake Balls and Macarons.

Fall Wedding Season is Here!!

What an exciting time of year for us as this is our Busy Wedding Season.  Before I opened my retail shop, I just assumed from my research that summer would be our busy time of year.  Boy was I wrong. When the fall season hits (regardless of the record temps in DFW) our orders and wedding kick into high gear.  Enjoy just a small sample of what we have time to photograph.

Photo Shoot

Here are some pictures from a wonderful shoot I did for the Brides of North Texas current issue.  It has been one of my favorite shoots to date.  I love all the beautiful plum and purple hues and the set gorgeous, even though it was rainy the entire day.  Special thanks to Out of the Garden in Grapevine for making my cake look even more spectacular!

Cakes!!!

For a bakery that is trying to get away from cakes to focus on our popular smaller desserts, cakes sure have been keeping us busy this month.  Here are a few samples of cakes we did last weekend.

This one is for my sweet niece Olivia.  She wanted a glow in 

the dark, neon fun cake.  This is what we put together

from about three different cake inspirations.  We loved it!!

Here is a smash cake for little Finley when she turned 1 year!  

She even came into the shop and spent time with me!

And yes, my favorite.  My nephew wanted a Duck Dynasty Cake.

Now, I am one of the only people on the planet that does not watch

this show, but we put together one heck of a cake!!  Happy Birthday Trev!!

Hello Everyone!!  Yes I realize it has been many months since I have posted any new updates here but there are so many great things happening here in the Cupcake Bliss World!!!  I will introduce you to some of our great new employees that joined me at the beginning of the year later, but for today here are some great photos of things we have worked on since my last posting.  So much of what we do never gets photographed because we just don't have time, so enjoy a few of what we do get in!!

Photo Shoot--Red and Pink!!!

Just shoot me now because I am totally in love with all the red and pink colors in this shoot.  I could just die from excitement!! 

If you have not had the wonderful opportunity to look over the bridal magazine The Brides of North Texas then you are truly missing out.  This is a magazine totally devoted to vendors in the Dallas and Ft Worth area so a bride can see exactly what is going on in DFW.  They also have a huge section devoted to engagements and weddings.  Scott and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary, but if I had it to do all over again I think I would choose pink and red as my colors.  Or maybe yellow and gray.  Well I am so lucky to do what I do because I can create all these wonderfully themed desserts over and over again.

Photo Shoot-Sunflowers

Here is another shoot we were honored to participate in for the Brides of North Texas.  This was at the Dallas Arboretum and the yellow and brown color just popped.  We did a very rustic yellow butter cream cake and sunflower cookies.  I don't know about you but I just love a simple butter cream cake with fresh flowers on top.
