UK Trip 2012

Paris

August 19, 2012

I fell in love with Paris.  No wonder it is the most visited city in the whole world.  Most of what I saw was from the window of a bus tour, but it was beautiful.  Here are a few samples of what we did do in the few eight hours we were there.

We started on the Sin River tour where we saw so much history, The Lourve, all the beautiful bridges, Notre-Dame de Paris, and of course the Eiffel Tower.

My next visit will be much longer!

Arc de Triomphe

This was the first time I saw the Eiffle Tower.

View from top of the Eiffel Tour.  Yes we walked the entire way down!!

Amy and I both wore our heals this day to look pretty in Paris.
By the end of the day our dogs were barking!

And yes...Macarons!!!
They are worth every pretty penny!

York

August 14, 2012

Well there is just so much to show you from my trip to the UK in June.  I will try to touch on some of my favorite moments.  Right now I will start with York.  It is such a cute little shopping town with a wonderful B&B, restaurants, and history.  Everything you would expect England to be.

Our day was perfect as the sun was following us everywhere we went, until we left for Scotland but that is for another day.  This was one of the first days I separated from my travel companions and spent most of the day by myself, taking lots of pictures, eating ice cream and sitting in the park just people watching.
